Two ways in
You don't need a membership to sit down. Stop by, buy a cigar and enjoy the room. If you find yourself coming back, there's a locker with your name on it.
Stop by
Open to the public six days a week.
- Monday to Thursday, 10 am to 9 pm
- Friday and Saturday, 10 am to midnight
- Choose a cigar from the humidor and settle in, inside or out on the patio
Become a member
Members treat the place like their own, because in a sense it is.
- Your own humidified locker for cigars, glasses and other personal items
- Key fob access. Members with 24/7 access can come in on Sundays, when the lounge is closed to the public
- A private room members can reserve, for a client meeting, a fantasy football draft or a quiet evening with friends

The lounge
Jesse and Jamie Schuman opened Bale & Ash in the fall of 2025, in the downtown building many in Pleasant Hill still remember as Brickers. They could have built out on 7 Highway. They chose downtown, because they wanted to help it thrive.
Inside it's softly lit and made for staying a while: a temperature and humidity controlled humidor, comfortable chairs, member lockers, and a patio for evenings outside. Come for one cigar or for the whole evening. Great conversation and interesting people are part of the deal.
